He said that Reliance Jio will launch its 5G network by the middle of 2021. Ambani said that 300 million Indians are still stuck in 2G technology in the digital world. Mukesh Ambani urged the government to take steps in this direction so that this 30 crore people can join the digital economy of India and benefit from it. He requested the government to formulate a policy to free 30 crore Indians from 2G and shift them to smartphones.

Mukesh Ambani also indicated preparations to launch indigenous 5G technology in the second half of 2021 next year. He described Reliance Jio's 5G technology as indigenous. Mukesh Ambani said that Jio's indigenous 5G technology is a witness to the success of the Prime Minister's 'Self-reliant India Mission'.

Even before this, with the launching of Jio 5g, preparations are being made to bring revolution in the whole country. With this, jio is going to be the first network to launch 5g in the whole country. Not only this, its entire hardware and technology will also be indigenous.

In this speech, Mukesh Ambani has given four advice to the government. From shifting 2G users to smartphones, the government has been asked to take policy steps to launch 5G quickly in India.

Mukesh Ambani has said that there are still 300 million mobile users in India using 2G only. He also said that these users will have to take immediate policy and steps to get affordable smartphones.
