Reliance Jio network has reportedly gone down in certain parts of the country, with thousands of users taking to social media to state that they cannot use mobile data or make voice calls. Since Jio is a 4G-only network, this means that users cannot fall back to 3G or 2G.
Downdetector is also showing a spike in user complaints related to the network
As per Downdetector, thousands of Jio users are currently experiencing some network issue. It shows that more than 4,000 users have complained about Jio network issues with 40 percent experiencing no signal.
The reported disruptions came a day after the Facebook family of apps, including WhatsApp and Instagram, hit a technical snag leaving scores of users unable to access their social media platforms for nearly six hours before the services were restored.

There is no clarification if this network issue affects users in a single region or is a bigger concern for Jio subscribers across the country.
With the Jio cellular network reportedly going off on Wednesday, social media users had a field day again. The #jiodown hashtag was trending on Twitter, with users picking a day-old tweet from Reliance Jio to mock the network over disruption.
