Samsung Galaxy S24 Series launched with AI capabilities and much more, All you need to know

Samsung Galaxy S24 Series: The global market, including India, has seen the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S24 series. Three models have been introduced by the company: the regular, Plus, and Ultra. Each variation has a varied price and meets the needs of people in a different way. In this article, we will tell you all you must know about these smartphones.

Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra

The brand’s most expensive model, The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, boasts a 6.8-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED display. Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset powers it. It is powered by 12GB RAM and up to 1TB of storage options. There is a quad back camera arrangement with a 200-megapixel primary camera for optics. A 12-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, a 50-megapixel telephoto camera with a 5x optical zoom, and a 10-megapixel telephoto sensor with a 3x optical zoom capability are also reportedly included in the back camera unit. The business offers support for digital zoom up to 100x. The phone has a 5,000mAh battery inside and a Titanium frame, similar to iPhone 15 Pro variants.

Samsung Galaxy S24 and S24+


The Samsung Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra share the same SIM and software specs. The display of the Galaxy S24 is 6.2 inches in full-HD+ resolution, whereas the Galaxy S24+ boasts a little larger 6.7-inch display. The Dynamic AMOLED 2X panels on both models enable Vision Booster and have configurable refresh rates between 1Hz and 120Hz. In certain regions, the Galaxy S24 and S24+ are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. The Exynos 2400 SoC powers cellphones sold in India. While the Plus model includes a 12GB RAM option, the basic model comes with 8GB RAM as standard.

In terms of optics, the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+ share the same triple rear camera setup: a 12-megapixel ultra-wide angle camera with an f/2.2 aperture lens and a 120-degree field of view; a 10-megapixel telephoto camera with an f/2.4 aperture lens, 3x optical zoom, and an 85-degree field of view; and a 50-megapixel wide camera. It has a 12-megapixel selfie sensor on the front with an 80-degree field of vision and an f/2.2 aperture lens.

The built-in storage of the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+ is up to 512GB. 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi direct, and a USB Type-C connector are among the available connectivity choices.

The 4,000mAh battery powering the Galaxy S24 allows for Wireless PowerShare, 15W wireless charging, and 25W cable charging. In contrast, the Galaxy S24+ has a 4,900mAh battery that can support 45W of wired charging, 15W of charging speed with Fast Wireless Charging 2.0, and support for reverse wireless charging via Wireless PowerShare.

AI Capabilities

The business disclosed that real-time call and message translation in apps like Instagram and WhatsApp will be among the AI-powered features available on the upcoming Samsung phones. You may also rapidly search for anything in the picture using the Circle to Search tool. Additionally, there is a browser assistance tool that may provide you with an overview of any online content you’re looking at quickly. Additionally, options to move or edit items within a frame without compromising the quality of the image will be available.

Price details

The Samsung Galaxy S24 costs $799.99 (about Rs 66,538), while the Galaxy S24+ model is priced at $999.99 (approximately Rs 83,173). The price of the Galaxy S24 Ultra is set to be $1,299.99, or around Rs 1,08,125. Prices for India are yet to be revealed.
