Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Z Fold 5: The two devices recently launched by Samsung in the Unpacked Event has recieved great attention at the home place, korea, after opening the pre-order window on August 1, 2023 in South Korea, both the phone have received more than 1 million pre-orders at their home country which has broken the previous record of around 970000 for the previous year models. As it was expected, the Galaxy Z Flip 5 grabbed more attention by the buyer with accounting almost 70 percent of all the 1.02 Million Units booked till now. This is a significant increase from the last year’s performance of the clamshell smartphones, it accounted for around 60 percent of all the pre-order, talking about the numbers, Flip 5 received 714000 Pre-orders, on the other hand Galaxy Fold 5 received around 306000 pre-orders, though, pre order window is open, the pre-order numbers are still rising for both the smartphones.
Interested Buyer in South Korea seems to have less inclination towards Galaxy Fold 5. as previously it received 388000 Pre-orders. Taking a clue from the data, Galaxy Fold 5 has received majority of the pre-orders from the existing users of the device.
The reason to have a great deal of inclination towards Galaxy Fold 5 is very clear as it offers a relatively bigger cover screen than its predecessors which significantly elevates the selfie taking experience and navigation experience when the device is closed.
