Snapchat AI : Snapchat to launch its own AI chatbot in collaboration with ChatGPT

Snapchat AI : Snapchat will launch its own artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot named “My AI” that it describes as a “experimental feature” this week. The AI bot was created using ChatGPT, a popular generated text tool from OpenAI.

The photo-sharing service will be referred to as “My AI” and pinned to Snapchat’s chat tab above the part for talks with friends.

The new functionality is currently only accessible to $3.99( 329.57 Indian Rupee) per month Snapchat Plus customers. Evan Spiegel, the CEO of Snap, is placing a lot of money on the idea that AI chatbots will eventually permeate people’s daily lives, and he intends to make the platform’s chatbot function freely available to all users.

According to firm CEO Evan Spiegel, the research into generative AI is only beginning

The business’s ideas for generative AI are only getting started, says company CEO Evan Spiegel.

Today, we’re introducing My AI, a brand-new chatbot that utilises the most recent GPT technology from OpenAI that we’ve tailored specifically for Snapchat. This week, My AI will be made available to Snapchat+ subscribers as an experimental feature. My AI can come up with suggestions for birthday presents for your BFF, organise a weekend hike, suggest a menu, or even compose a haiku about cheese for a friend who is crazy about cheddar. Give My AI a name and personalise the Chat background to make it uniquely yours ” in a statement, Snapchat said.

Company said that many flaws could arise while using it

My AI, like other chatbots powered by AI, is susceptible to hallucinations and can be made to say almost anything. Please be aware of its many flaws and accept our sincere apologies! Every communication you have with My AI will be recorded and could be evaluated to enhance the experience. My AI should not be trusted for guidance, so please do not divulge any secrets to it “the business stated.

The Chief Technical Officer (CTO) at OpenAI, the organisation that created the popular AI chatbot ChatGPT, Mira Murati, recently voiced her reservations regarding the chatbot. AI can be abused and “used by bad actors,” according to Murati, who discussed this in an interview .
