Twitch will not let users stream on multiple platforms simultaneously, Details

Twitch: The industry is really twitching, more like buzzing, at Twitch’s most recent announcement at TwitchCon in Las Vegas. The industry leader in live streaming will soon let customers stream their content simultaneously on many platforms. The firm had previously relaxed its policies about cross-streaming to social media sites such as Instagram and TikTok, but this is a big move that allows broadcasting on “any service,” barring Twitch-exclusive contracts for streamers.

Twitch will not let users stream on multiple platforms

Twitch loosened its cross-streaming policies in August, enabling broadcasters to have their live content displayed on competing social media platforms like Instagram and TikTok. According to the firm, “any service” will enable customers to livestream their Twitch videos. Nevertheless, co-streaming on other platforms is prohibited for the channels that have agreements with Twitch for exclusivity.

New Guidelines

The company says, “We believe in giving you the freedom to simultaneously stream on other services, but we also want to ensure that the Twitch user experience is not compromised.”
