Want to use ChatGPT instead of Siri on your iPhone? Here is how you can do it

ChatGPT: Would you like ChatGPT to be available on the iPhone? Artificial intelligence is sweeping the globe, and with a shortcut, you can now use ChatGPT instead of Siri.

The OpenAI-created AI chatbot ChatGPT has gained popularity in 2023 as the programme becomes more widely available. Microsoft has made significant investments in artificial intelligence software, and it just added ChatGPT to Bing search. In this article, we will tell you how to replace Siri with ChatGPT on your iPhone.

How to use ChatGPT instead of Siri on iPhone

ChatGPT can replace Siri on your iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone Pro Max by using the new Action button. Voice interactions with the chatbot boost it to the position of a voice assistant similar to Siri. Here are the steps for replacing Siri:

1. Download the ChatGPT app

To have the Action button launch ChatGPT, you must first download the app for free from the App Store. The Action button can be configured to launch apps. A lot of ChatGPT clones can be found on the App Store, so be careful to get the OpenAI app.

2. Configure ChatGPT to the action button

The next step is to designate ChatGPT as an Action Button. Click Settings > Action Button > Shortcut to accomplish this. After seeing the side button image, scroll to the Shortcut menu, pick “Choose a feature,” and choose the ChatGPT app.

3. To use the voice feature, upgrade to ChatGPT Plus

ChatGPT’s listening and talking features are only available to ChatGPT Plus users, who must pay $20 per month if they want to use this shortcut in place of Siri’s voice assistant features.

You may still quickly access the chatbot’s interface with the shortcut if you don’t want to pay for the subscription, which will make it simpler to ask inquiries and receive answers while on the go.
