WhatsApp: You can get banned from WhatsApp for sending too many "Good Morning" texts. Not clickbait. That gets you banned. It is possible for WhatsApp to classify it as spam, and the service does terminate user accounts that engage in unusual behaviors such as sharing unconfirmed information or even counting it as spam. WhatsApp bans millions of Indian accounts every month because of these behaviors.

What causes WhatsApp bans?

WhatsApp users may be banned without intention. Unknowingly spamming contacts, transmitting dubious information , or overusing WhatsApp's broadcast lists. Spam, frauds, and endangering WhatsApp users violate the company's Terms of Service. WhatsApp's August user safety report banned 2.3 million Indian accounts.

How does WhatsApp ban accounts?

WhatsApp says it uses multiple security methods to keep users safe. To stop spam, it uses spam detection technology to identify and act on suspicious accounts. Since there are so many messages, it is impossible for a human moderator to keep track of the ones that don't follow the company's rules. Since it's automatic.

WhatsApp ban prevention: how?

WhatsApp requires double-checking before forwarding messages. To discourage forwarding, the software labels all forwarded messages and restricts the number of times you can forward them. Don't forward anything you're unsure of.

Broadcast messaging: WhatsApp bans spammers using machine learning and user feedback. Overusing broadcast lists can get you banned. Users must add your phone number to their contacts to access the service. Repeatedly reporting broadcast messages will ban your WhatsApp account.

WhatsApp recommends getting permission before adding contacts to groups. If you join someone in a group and they later decide to leave on their own, you must respect their decision. WhatsApp advises removing a contact from your address book and not messaging them again if they ask you to stop.

Communicate with known contacts: Only message those who have contacted you first or desired WhatsApp contact.

See WhatsApp's "Acceptable Use of Our Services" section for instances of prohibited activities.
