Whatsapp: The 'forward media with caption' feature, which enables users to transfer images, videos, GIFs, and documents with captions, has been made available on iOS by the Meta-owned messaging service WhatsApp. Some users were able to access the new feature after downloading the most recent WhatsApp for iOS 22.23.77 update from the App Store.

How to use the feature?
To find out if the feature is available on their account, users must forward an image with a caption, after which a new view will appear at the bottom of the screen.
A dismiss button is also offered so that the caption can be removed from the image before the message is forwarded if the user decides they do not want to forward it.
According to a report, the feature will be made available to more users over the next several days.
Other recently launched features of WhatsApp
It was revealed last week that the messaging service was developing a voice status feature for an upcoming iOS version that would enable users to add audio notes to their status updates.
Other recently introduced WhatsApp features include emoji reactions to messages, which allows long pressing on a text and replying with an emoji icon reaction instead of separately responding to a text, WhatsApp communities, which allow joining multiple groups into one, which was previously not possible due to a member limit, Message Yourself, which allows saving reminders, to-do lists, and other messages for your own self, group video calling, and more.
