X: Tech tycoon Elon Musk's X Corp., formerly Twitter, reportedly removed more than 23 lakh accounts from the network in India between June and July after noticing the accounts that encourage non-consensual nudity and child sexual exploitation. During May 26 and June 25, X blacklisted 5,44,473 Indian accounts, while during June and July, it banned a record 23,95,495 accounts. The microblogging service removed 1,772 accounts for encouraging terrorism in the nation.
X banned over 23 Lakh accounts
Due to the fact that it did not show on the portal on the first of the month, the report was around a week late. Like other social media sites like Meta and WhatsApp, X Transparency usually publishes the report on the first of the month.

Between June 26 and July 25, X also processed 49 grievances that were contesting account suspensions.
