New Update
WhattsApp

WhatsApp has now introduced an undo "Delete for me" feature that is similar to the one in Gmail and will help you avoid unpleasant situations.

Imagine this… You mistakenly deleted an embarrassing WhatsApp message from your boss "for me" rather than "for everyone."

Whattsapp launches five second window allows users to undo message deletion

Earlier this year, WhatsApp introduced a new function called "accidental delete," which gives you a five-second window to choose whether to delete a message for everyone or just yourself.

With this new update, a notice will pop-up asking you if you want to cancel the action when someone inadvertently selects the "delete for me" option in a WhatsApp discussion. Next to the notification that a communication has been deleted, this message will show up at the bottom.

Function is supported by iPhone and Android devices and works in both individual and group chats

When the messaging app added the "Delete for Everyone" option in 2017, people all over the world breathed a sigh of relief. Now, users may delete messages from everyone in a chat if they accidentally sent them.

In 2020, it added a mechanism for messages to vanish.

In the near future, WhatsApp will also roll out a few other conversation capabilities for users. After sending a WhatsApp message, users may be able to amend it, according to sources.
