Bigg Boss 19 contestant Tanya Mittal is once again making headlines after housemate Kunickaa Sadanand made a personal remark about her mother during a nomination task. Contestants were paired to count 19 minutes while others tried to distract them. She said that Tanya’s mother taught nothing to her. Kunickaa’s comment upset Tanya so much that she broke down in tears.
Gaurav Khanna stepped in and told Kunickaa, “You may be an enemy, but don’t stoop this low. I am sorry you are in this show. You are atrociously wrong.” Despite the backlash, Kunickaa remained firm, saying, “Meri marzi. I will again reiterate that she has not been taught properly how to behave or how to live in circumstances apart from wearing jewellery and sarees.”

The incident quickly became a topic of debate online. Many viewers criticised Kunickaa for crossing the line and involving Tanya’s family. During this moment, Tanya emotionally said, “My mother is everything. Mera mumma mera bhagwan hai. She cannot bring up my mother in the task. Main bahut mushkil se yahan tak pahunchi hu.”
She also recalled how her father used to beat her, and her mother came to rescue. The influencer also revealed she wanted to die at that time.
Gauahar Khan Slams Kunickaa Sadanand For Questioning Tanya Mittal’s Upbringing
Former Bigg Boss winner Gauahar Khan, who recently became a mother again, also shared her views on X. She wrote, “Khud ke maa hone ki duhai dena, bahar ki baat mat karo n all that, n to actually state things on someone else’s mother so easily, is shocking.”
She added, “Double standards. #bb19 Hope being 61 still makes u eligible for criticism. Woh expect karo jo aap offer kar sakte hain warna na karo (expect what you can offer, otherwise don’t do it).”
