A bold clip captured on social media sparked widespread discussion among online viewers almost instantly. Narendra Paratap posted a video on X showing pilgrims eating at Pandit Ji’s dhaba in Amroha. In the clip, Kanwariyas accused the cook of mixing egg curry gravy into their food with strong claims.

They created a huge uproar at the roadside eatery and refused to pay for the meal afterwards. Investigators later learned the group had collected Ganga water at Garhmukteshwar before arriving at this location. Viewers debated motives and questioned whether the pilgrims truly faced any food issues at all. 

Police Hint Dispute Was Not About Food

Meanwhile, police responded to clarify that the dispute concerned payment issues rather than any problem with food quality. Police said the incident happened on July 11, 2025, near midday at a dhaba in the Gajraula police station area. Officers noted some Kanwariyas claimed a sour taste in vegetables and alleged the cook added egg gravy.

The police and Food Safety team immediately inspected the dishes and collected samples for laboratory testing. Test results did not confirm any egg presence in the curry and showed the claims lacked supporting evidence. Officers counseled the pilgrims and escorted them onward with calm restored and no arrests made. 

Is Misusing God’s Name Justified for Such Actions?
