Arshad Viral Video: On the morning of New Year 2025, Lucknow was stunned by a horrific crime that left an entire family in pieces. Mohammad Arshad, a family member, brutally murdered his own mother and four sisters. While the city was still reeling from the shock, a disturbing video of Arshad went viral, offering chilling insights into the motives behind this tragic act.
In the viral video shared widely on X handle of News24, Arshad provides a disturbing confession, detailing the reasons he claims led to the murder of his family. Arshad admits to killing his mother and sisters, blaming local residents for the extreme actions. "My name is Mohammad Arshad. Today, I killed my own family because of the people in my locality," he says, citing a long-running dispute over their house. He explains that for the past several days, his family had been living on the streets after losing their home to the locals.

The viral video reveals Arshad’s grievances regarding his family's struggle to reclaim their property, which he accuses local residents of seizing. "We tried to raise our voices, but no one listened," he says. Arshad also accuses the local Muslims of being involved in illegal activities, including land grabbing and trafficking. He names several individuals—Ranu (Aftab Ahmed), Aleem Khan, Salim Driver, Arif, and Azhar—whom he claims are responsible for his family's suffering. "They wanted to send us to jail and sell our sisters," Arshad says, claiming that the murder was a desperate attempt to protect his family.
In the now viral video, Arshad directs a special appeal to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, appealing for his intervention. "Yogi Ji, don't spare these kinds of Muslims. What you're doing is right. They grab land, oppress people, and engage in illegal activities," Arshad says, urging CM Yogi to take action against those he claims are responsible for his family's plight. His comments have sparked a heated debate, with some questioning the credibility of his statements, while others believe they may be an attempt to justify his actions.
Following the arrest of Arshad, the Lucknow police are diving into the investigation, which has now grown even more complex due to the viral video. DCP Central Raveena Tyagi has assured the public that a thorough investigation is underway. The police are examining the video’s contents to determine whether Arshad’s accusations about land disputes and illegal activities hold any truth. While the police focus on uncovering the facts, public outrage over the brutal murders continues to grow.
