Bride Refuses to Marry, Family Lodges Complaint

The incident took place in the Kyoldiya police station area of Bareilly. The wedding procession had come from Barkheda, Pilibhit, but the celebrations took an unexpected turn when the drunk groom embarrassed himself during the varmala ceremony. Angered by the situation, the bride refused to go ahead with the wedding. Following the bride's decision, her family lodged a complaint with the police, leading to legal action against the groom and his relatives.

Police Take Action Against the Drunk Groom and Family

Responding to the complaint, the Bareilly police booked the groom, his father, and three others for disturbing public peace. Law enforcement officials confirmed the action through a statement in the comment section of the viral post. The statement reads: "In the referenced case, on the basis of the complaint received at the police station Kyoldia, Bareilly, a case has been registered under relevant sections, and preventive action has been taken against the accused in view of peace and law and order."
