During the 87th match of the Vitality Blast between Essex and Somerset, Roelof bowled a full toss in the 16th over. While trying to save a straight shot, Roelof dislocated his finger. The physio ran to the field and relocated his finger in an instant.
The strange thing happened afterward as Roelof went back and bowled the remaining deliveries of his over. Roelof took one wicket with an economy of 9.00 in his superhuman physical spell. He was lucky that his bowling finger was not injured.

The gesture by Roelof must have motivated his teammates, as Somerset chased a good total pretty easily. Somerset chased down a target of 187 in just 16.1 overs and is sitting at the top of the South zone table.
