She said, “I can\’t tell you the number of mothers that have called me up and said – My child will eat food only if he hears Aaj Ki Raat. Because bacche apne diaper mein aise aise hil rahe hote hai (moves side to side).”
The song features Tamannaah in a glamorous avatar and was made as a bold, high-energy dance number. It became very popular soon after its release. Though the song has a romantic and slightly mature theme, its beat and choreography seem to have made it a favourite among children too.
Tamannaah added, “So be it” – when talking about kids watching her song while eating. For her, what matters most is that her work connects with people, even if it\’s in unexpected ways.

“Aaj Ki Raat” plays during Stree 2, a horror-comedy film directed by Amar Kaushik. In the song, Tamannaah performs a stylish dance where the character tells her admirer to watch but not touch. Despite its grown-up vibe, the visuals and rhythm have clearly become a household hit.
The movie Stree 2 starred Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana. It was one of 2024’s biggest blockbusters, collecting over ₹900 crore at the box office.

After the success of Stree 2, Tamannaah is now working on her next film, VVAN: Force of the Forest. The film also stars Sidharth Malhotra and is directed by Deepak Mishra and Arunabh Kumar.
VVAN is based on Indian folklore and is set in the mysterious forests of Central India. The story includes hidden temples, ancient legends, and secrets buried in nature. The film is set to hit theatres on May 15 next year.
Besides this, she has also joined Ajay Devgn’s jungle adventure film Ranger as the female lead.
