Akshay Kumar: Just After the release of Raksha Bandhan, Akshay Kumar announced his new project. Khiladi Kumar will next be seen in Pooja Entertainment’s next film Titled- Cuttputlli. While along with Akshay Kumar, this action-drama also stars, Rakul Preet Singh and Sargun Mehta in the lead roles.
While, The first look of the film was released today and Akshay is again going to be seen donning a police uniform. In the first glimpse, Akshay and his police team can be seen chasing a serial killer. And in the short clip, the actor can be heard saying, “Serial killer ke saath power nahi mind game khelna chaiye… woh humare saath khel raha hai.”

Akshay Kumar shared the first glimpse of Cuttputlli on his Twitter handle. While the caption read, “This game is not about power, it is about the mind. And you and I are all #Cutputlli in this mind game. Dropping on @DisneyPlusHS, Sept 2. Trailer tomorrow @vashubhagnani @Rakulpreet @ranjit_tiwari @jackkybhagnani @honeybhagnani #Cutputlli ).”
Akshay’s last appearance as a cop
Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar was last seen as a police officer in Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi. He acted opposite Katrina Kaif in the film. While Ajay Devgan and Ranveer Singh played special roles in this film directed by Rohit Shetty. The film was released in theatres on November 5 and became one of the highest-grossing films of 2021.
Coming back to Katputli, Akshay and Rakul shot for the film in Mussoorie. It is produced by Pooja Entertainment. And The film is directed by Ranjit M Tiwari. and the short motion poster begins with a visual of a gift box wrapped with mystery and spooky background music is also added.

While The film was earlier titled, Miss Cinderella and now Cuttputlli is all set to release on 2 September 2022 on Disney Plus Hotstar.
