Madhuri Dixit's family recently shared heartwarming memories about her grandsons, Arin and Ryan. In a video posted by Madhuri’s husband, Dr. Shriram Nene, his mother spoke fondly about her grandsons and their close relationship while they were younger.
Madhuri Dixit's mother-in-law recalled how Arin, the older brother, was always very protective of Ryan. She shared how Arin would often look after Ryan, saying, "He is my brother, my younger brother." According to her, Arin’s protectiveness was evident wherever they went. Dr. Nene’s mother fondly remembered the bond the two brothers shared when they were younger, with Arin constantly shielding Ryan from harm.

However, when Dr. Nene asked about their relationship today, Madhuri’s mother-in-law mentioned that she hasn’t seen them as close as before. But the memories of their early years left a lasting impression on everyone.
Madhuri joined the conversation and shared a memorable incident involving Ryan. She recalled a time when Ryan, at just two and a half years old, stood up to a bully who pushed Arin on the football field. Ryan bravely confronted the boy and said, "You cannot treat my brother like that. Do you know who I am? Do you know who he is? He is my brother." Madhuri found it amazing to see Ryan show such courage and protectiveness for his older sibling at such a young age.
Ryan, now older, jokingly responded, “Parents can make up anything about us when we were young and fool us,” which added a lighthearted touch to the family moment.
Dr. Nene then asked his children about the values they have learned from their family. He pointed out how, despite their background, the children remained humble and grounded. Ryan acknowledged that their upbringing was different from many others, noting, “We’ve had a much easier life than most. As for being grounded, I wouldn’t claim that myself. I can only hope people see me that way or that my actions reflect it.”
Dr. Nene shared the video on Instagram, expressing his joy in spending quality family time together and reflecting on the importance of making cherished memories.
