Released on July 25, 2025, and directed by debutant Ashwin Kumar, Mahavatar Narsimha is the first film in a planned seven-part Mahavatar Cinematic Universe. The story follows the demon brothers Hiranyaksha and Hiranyakashipu, born to Diti, who defies cosmic warnings. Trained by Shukracharya, they challenge the gods. Hiranyaksha is defeated by Vishnu’s Varaha avatar, while Hiranyakashipu gains a boon from Brahma, declares himself a god, and oppresses Vishnu’s devotees.
