Ajay Devgn and Mrunal Thakur are busy promoting their upcoming film Son Of Sardaar 2. During a chat on Archana Puran Singh’s YouTube channel, they shared some fun moments from the sets. Ajay narrated a hilarious incident involving Deepak Dobriyal, who plays a transgender woman named Gul in the film. His convincing look led to some unexpected washroom troubles during the shoot.
Ajay Devgn On Deepak Dobriyal’s Transformation
Ajay praised Deepak’s dedication and how well he portrayed his role. He shared, “Deepak Dobriyal has played his role very well. We have not made fun of his character; in fact, he even has an emotional arc. He stayed in character during lunch and even went out to dinner with us in Scotland like that.”
Ajay also said that Deepak’s transformation brought some funny situations, especially when it came to using public washrooms. Mrunal revealed that he often faced confusion about which washroom to enter when dressed as a woman.
The Washroom Incident On Son Of Sardaar 2 Set
Ajay recalled a moment when things got awkward. Ajay laughed and said, “We had issues when he needed to use the washroom and was dressed as a lady. When I was taking him to the gents’ washroom once, a woman came running out of nowhere to tell him he was going into the wrong one. She dragged him to the ladies’ washroom, and I had to rescue him, telling her he was a man.”
He also shared another funny memory. “When he went into the men’s washroom, a man kept staring and smiling at him. Even on set, a 7-foot-tall man stared at him so much that it left him worried.”
