Aamir Khan’s Sitaare Zameen Par premiere turned into a starry affair in Mumbai on June 19. But it wasn’t just the film or the rare reunion of the three Khans (Aamir, Shah Rukh, and Salma) that got everyone talking.

Shah Rukh Khan stole the spotlight with a heartwarming move. Dressed low-key in a hoodie and beanie, SRK arrived quietly and walked straight past the celebs to meet the young neurodivergent stars of the film. He posed for selfies, flashed his signature victory sign, and skipped the usual attention to connect with the kids.

Shah Rukh Khan’s Sweet Moment, Salman’s Cheeky Joke

The night had its light moments too. Salman Khan jokingly shared an incident with the paps. He said, “Aamir first came to me with Sitaare Zameen Par. I liked the story and told him I’d do the film. But he replied - I’m doing this film myself." The two laughed it off, leaving the audience smiling.

Meanwhile, Shah Rukh’s quiet gesture made waves online. Aamir and his girlfriend Gauri greeted him at the venue. 'Excited' SRK ignored friend Aamir and went straight towards the film’s debutant cast to cheer them. Fans online praised the moment by calling it wholesome and real. Videos of him greeting the young stars are already being widely shared on social media.

The screening saw a strong turnout of big names. Rekha, Jeetendra, Asha Bhosle, Vicky Kaushal, Tiger Shroff, Riteish Deshmukh, Farah Khan, Jackie Shroff and Imran Khan were among those spotted.

Released in cinemas on June 20, the film is described as a spiritual follow-up to Taare Zameen Par and is based on the Spanish movie Campeones. It focuses on inclusion, second chances, and learning to see strength in unexpected places.
