Bhojpuri actress Akshara Singh recently spoke on several topics in a recent interview. Currently, Akshara is busy promoting her film Rudra Shakti. During an exclusive chat with Bhaskar, she revealed secrets about the movie and also shared what kind of life partner she is looking for.
When asked about the ongoing language row, she said, “Mumbai kya desh ka aisa koi rajya nahi hai jo UP-Bihar walon ke dam par nahi tika ho.” She also cleared the air about the rumours of joining Jan Suraj.
Akshara Singh Talks About Politics And Personal Life
When asked about joining Jan Suraj and contesting elections, Akshara told Dainik Bhaskar, “Iska main khandan karna chahti hoon. Main is baat ko ghar-ghar tak pahunchana chahti hoon ki main kisi party vishesh se nahi judi hoon. Main unki vichardhara ke liye judi thi. Ab main on paper unke saath nahi hoon.”
About getting a political ticket, she smiled and said, “Abhi hum apne film ka ticket bechne aaye hain. Us ticket ke liye mere paas abhi koi jagah nahi hai.”
Akshara also spoke about handling trolling and controversies with singer Pawan Singh. She shared, She said, “Mujhe lagta hai ki yeh cheezen maayne nahi rakhti. Ek hi cheez ko dhohne ka koi matlab nahi. Duniya aage badh rahi hai sabko jeene ka haq hai to mujhe kyu nahi.”
Akshara was earlier seen with her father Bipin Indrajit Singh on the stage of Jan Suraj with Prashant Kishor.
Talking about her collaboration with rapper Badshah, she said, “Jab Badshah ne pehli baar gaana banane ka socha tha tab unhone mujhse contact kiya tha… Chandigarh me hamari mulaqat hui aur team ban gayi. Badshah ke saath kaam kar bahut accha laga.”
On Language Debate, Chatth Puja And Marriage Plans
When asked about the Marathi vs Hindi language issue, Akshara boldly stated, “Aap bhasha ke liye kisi ko zor nahi daal sakte. Sirf Mumbai hi nahi, balki desh ka koi bhi shahar UP-Bihar walon ke dam par hi tika hua hai.”
She recalled how she performed Chhath Puja despite people mocking her. “Yeh parv hamara emotion hai… Pappa ne mujhe hamesha support kiya hai,” she shared. She also confirmed that she will perform Chhath Puja this year too.
About Bhojpuri songs and criticism of vulgarity, she said, “100 ki bheed me ek ko target kar judge nahi kar sakte. Main lagatar prayas kar rahi hoon ki apne industry ko best de paun.”
She also commented on censorship by saying, “Hum sabka muh jaakar nahi band kar sakte. Main apne karm par dhyan deti hoon.”
Akshara credits her glow to positivity and fitness. “Workout aur diet maintain karti hoon… Positive soch rakho, woh chehre par reflect hota hai,” she said. She also revealed her love for Patna street food, especially aloo cut and puchka.
On marriage, Akshara candidly said, “Dhang ka koi mil hi nahi raha hai. Aaj kal koi ladka bina double date ka nahi milta. Seedha dikne wala aur ek par rehne wala ladka mujhe chahiye. Sab lol type aa ja rahe hain”
Akshara Singh On Her Role In Rudra Shakti
Akshara plays a journalist named Shakti in Rudra Shakti, which presents a modern twist to the story of Shiv-Parvati. “Yeh film aise content ke saath bani hai jo family ke saath dekha ja sakta hai,” she said.
The film has been shot in extreme weather conditions, and Akshara calls it “an amazing journey” with the cast and crew. She concluded by saying, “Is film me rooh hai jo abhi ke zamane me missing hai.”
