While the success of Saiyaara has opened many doors for Ahaan Panday, Yash Raj Films already has big plans for Aneet. As industry insiders know, Aneet Padda signed a three-film deal with YRF. This major contract follows her work in Big Girls Don’t Cry and Salaam Venky, making her a top priority talent for the production house.
Aneet’s debut as the lead in Saiyaara is just the beginning. With more films probably lined up under the YRF banner, there is growing curiosity about who will be cast opposite her next. Ahaan Panday Suggested Aneet For Saiyaara
In a recent interview with Instant Bollywood, director Mohit Suri shared how both actors initially struggled during their auditions. He revealed, “Ahaan was the one who told me – give her another chance. I\’m telling you she\’s good. I\’ve done a scene with her.”
The second meeting turned out to be a game-changer. Mohit recalled, “I called Aneet and said – You guys have a problem. You think I want a particular type. Come in as you are.” Aneet arrived in a loose white shirt and jeans, which immediately clicked with the director.
He said, “I was like, this is it.” Mohit noted that her natural look and vibe shaped her character in the film. “Her look, lost and clumsy – that’s what she is.”
The filmmaker also highlighted the pressure actors face to meet certain expectations during auditions. He added, “People think they need to show something filmmakers want. But that’s not always true.”
With Saiyaara’s massive success, both Ahaan and Aneet have become breakout stars. The film, which hit theatres on July 18, continues to perform strongly at the box office.
