Nithin, a Telugu actor, is getting ready for an emotional comeback with his new movie Thammudu, which was directed by Venu Sriram, who is known for Vakeel Saab and MCA Middle Class Abbayi. The movie, which came out on July 4 and stars Sapthami Gowda, Laya, Varsha Bollamma, and Saurabh Sachdeva, has a lot of talk online and high hopes, but early reviews from audiences are very mixed.

The plot and production

The story of Thammudu is about a brother and sister who can't be separated. When bad things happen in the family, the older brother does everything he can to keep his sister safe. Ajaneesh Loknath is in charge of music for the project, and KV Guhan, Sameer Reddy, and Setu are in charge of photography. Prawin Pudi is in charge of editing.

Visuals, VFX, and standout moments

The film's production values are getting a lot of praise. The cinematography and visual effects are very well done, and people are impressed by how good they look. Someone who wrote as "Telugu Cult" said that Nithin's performance was the best of his career. They called the movie a "good comeback film" and said that the background music by Ajaneesh Loknath was "lit." Others agree, pointing out a "well-executed scene" in the second half along with good VFX and technical skill.

There are problems with the script, the pace, and the emotional depth

A lot of people on social media and review sites think that the first part is too short.  A YouTube reviewer named Venky Reviews says it's a "lackluster action-adventure drama" with a "thin storyline" and "flat screenplay," which means there are awkward scenes that are almost funny by mistake.  A lot of people thought the conflict and the bad guy's journey were weak and lacking polish and meaning.

An easy-to-read summary lists the pros and cons:

What critics have said is mixed.  Still, people have very different ideas.  "ReelOpinions" is mad and says the production team is going too far: "Painful watch...  Dil Raju garu, your words should match at least 10% of what was written.  "Telugu Cult" and "Mr. Filmologist," on the other hand, say the opposite.  They like Nithin's energy, the dramatic atmosphere, the story, and the fact that the movie could be the start of his comeback as an actor.

 Last Word

People were very happy when Tammudu came out in theaters on July 4.  People have said nice things about the movie's smooth visuals, powerful finish, and Nithin's hard-working act.  Many watchers were let down, though, by the slow start, weak story, and patchy emotional connection.  What happens to the movie might rest on how people talk about the second half. For now, Thammudu is a rough journey that shows both drive and missed chances.  A lot of people are looking forward to the final box office choice as more online reviews come in.
