The wait for War 2 trailer is finally over. After weeks of buzz, the makers have confirmed that the much-awaited trailer of the Hrithik Roshan, Jr NTR, and Kiara Advani starrer will release on July 25, 2025.
Directed by Ayan Mukerji, the action-packed sequel is set to hit cinemas on August 14, 2025, just ahead of the Independence Day weekend. Releasing in Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil, the film is already being called one of Bollywood’s biggest releases of the year.

The announcement sparked reactions from fans. One user said, “Well it\’s good that finally you started talking about War2 otherwise I thought you would talk about it only after Saiyaara gets the Oscar.”

Six Big Action Sequences In Hrithik Roshan Starrer
War 2 is set to deliver six large-scale action sequences filmed across stunning global locations. YRF has designed this sequel to be bigger and more thrilling than the first film.
The movie also features two songs (a romantic track with Hrithik and Kiara, and an intense face-off number between Hrithik and Jr NTR). The music is by Pritam, who is returning after composing for the first film.

Hrithik Roshan will return as Kabir, the stylish super spy from War (2019). Jr NTR, the RRR star, is making his Bollywood debut and is said to play the main villain. Kiara Advani joins as the leading lady, marking her entry into the YRF Spy Universe.
The film is the sixth instalment of YRF’s successful Spy Universe, which includes hits like Pathaan and Tiger 3. War 2 promises powerful action scenes, a dramatic Hrithik vs Jr NTR showdown, and a global-scale story that could set new benchmarks for Indian cinema.
Releasing just before Independence Day, the film is expected to have a strong box office run due to the extended holiday weekend. Reports also claim that the teaser of Jolly LLB 3, starring Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi, will be attached to War 2 in theatres.
