GG vs MI WPL 2023: Mumbai Indians demolished Gujarat Giants in the opening clash of the Women's Premier League. After scoring 208 runs, Mumbai Indians bowled out the opponents for 64 runs and won by 143 runs. However, one hilarious incident is going viral. Some netizens are saying that the third umpire's voice actually sounded similar to Sachin Tendulkar.

Netizens confused with Third umpire's voice

Amelia Kerr grabbed the wicket of Sneh Rana on the first ball of the eighth over. The ball had actually struck on Rana's pad . Despite this, she opted for the review where everyone heard a voice similar to Sachin Tendulkar. When people heard this voice on TV, everyone was astounded. The field umpire eventually heard it and adjourned Rana as dismissed.

However, it is not what everyone thought. The voice is actually of Third umpire Paschim Pathak. Though many were lefts surprised after hearing and many got confused as well. Netizens have shared the video of that moment on social media, which is now rapidly going viral over social media. The on-field umpires were Nitin Pandit and Vrinda Rathi.

Gujarat Giants suffered a massive defeat and will now take on UP Warriorz tomorrow itself at 07:30 PM. Meanwhile, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Delhi Capitals will clash first at 03:30 PM. Mumbai Indians will now clash with RCB on 6th of March.
