Viral Video: As cases of suicide continue to rise, it becomes crucial to address the issue with seriousness. A heartbreaking incident from Agra’s Defence Colony is now making headlines after a viral video of TCS manager Manav Sharma surfaced online. Manav, who got married on January 30, 2024, was reportedly facing distress due to his wife’s actions. Soon after the wedding, she started living with her boyfriend and allegedly threatened to file false legal cases against his family. Unable to bear the mental and emotional turmoil, Manav took his own life.
In the viral video, he appears with tears in his eyes and a solemn expression. His last words reflect deep pain as he makes an emotional appeal to society.
The viral video was uploaded on X by a user named Tushar Srivastava. The caption of the video reads, "In Agra, Manav Sharma, who worked in TCS company, committed suicide after being fed up with his wife's harassment. Manav made a video while crying and committed suicide by hanging himself."

In the viral video, just before taking his life, the TCS manager, who worked in Mumbai, shared his painful experience. With tears in his eyes, he said, "Men are helpless and alone. Please, someone should speak up for men too." He also added, "Law need to protect men, or otherwise there will be a time when there will be no men."
Before ending his life, Manav apologized to his parents. He also spoke about being troubled by his wife and her affair. His father revealed that after returning from Mumbai on February 23, Manav had gone to his in-laws’ house with his wife, where he was threatened. In the end, he chose to escape his suffering by taking his own life.
Inspector Sadar Viresh Pal Giri has taken note of the viral video related to TCS manager Manav Sharma’s suicide. Speaking about the video, which is making waves on social media, the inspector stated that the police received a complaint via WhatsApp late Thursday night. The authorities are making all necessary preparations to register a case and take further action.
