In the video, the woman shared how she kept her plans a secret. “At home, I have my daughter-in-law, granddaughter, and son. I only told my granddaughter and came here. No one else knows, as they don’t allow me to come. So, I secretly left alone,” she explained.
Her son, while likely concerned for her safety, was aware of her devotion. The woman added, “Even if they don’t allow me, I run away to attend the Kumbh.” This candid revelation highlights her dedication to her spiritual duty.
The 90-year-old woman has attended every Kumbh Mela across the four sacred locations: Nashik, Haridwar, Ujjain and Prayagraj. Recalling her past experiences, including the 2008 Nashik stampede, she confidently stated, “We don’t fear crowds.”
