Maharashtra: At a disaster scene on the Bandra-Worli sea link in Mumbai late Friday night, a speeding automobile slammed three cars and an ambulance, leaving five people dead and eight injured.
CCTV cameras captured the horrifying collision, which happened at around 3.30 am on Wednesday.

Observations depict the car colliding with the ambulance and other vehicles parked by the side following a previous collision. The second collision occurred while the ambulance was getting ready to transport the accident victims to a hospital.
A woman and a Sea Link employee were two of the thirteen injured people. A senior police official informed news outlet PTI that five were later declared dead while receiving treatment.

The six injured are being treated at various hospitals. After receiving minor injuries treatment, two more people were released, according to the police.
The victim’s relatives received condolences from Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who also wished the injured a swift recovery.

“Saddened by the deaths caused by a collision on Mumbai’s Bandra-Worli Sea Link. Condolences to the families of the deceased. I pray for a swift recovery for those who were hurt.”

Following the collision, authorities enlisted the assistance of the community to transport the injured to the hospital. The Bandra to Worli road was subsequently shut down by the authorities.
