According to reports, the husband, Lokesh Manjhi, has submitted an application to the Superintendent of Police in Panna, Madhya Pradesh, narrating his ordeal and seeking help. Now, the CCTV footage of his wife beating him has surfaced on social media. The MP viral video shows the husband joining hands while the wife repeatedly slaps him hard on his face. Not only this, but she also kicked his face and pulled his hair. The video is extremely distressing and has been spreading rapidly across social media.

Husband Alleges Wife’s Family Demands Cash and Jewelry

As per reports from The Economic Times, this incident took place in Satna, Madhya Pradesh. The victim has been identified as Lokesh Manjhi, and the accused wife as Harshita Raikwar.

According to Lokesh, the couple got married in 2023, and since then, his wife, along with her mother and brother, has been demanding cash and jewelry from him. When he refused, they allegedly beat and thrashed him brutally.

He has also claimed that his wife does not allow him to communicate with his own family and has threatened to end her life if he approaches the police. She has allegedly also warned him that she would harm the children. Lokesh, fearing for his life, has now sought urgent intervention from the authorities.
