Mumbai Viral Video: MNS Worker’s Thuggery Over’ Anti-Marathi’ Remark, Assaults Shopkeeper in Vikhroli, When Will It End?

Mumbai Viral Video: Yet another unsettling scene unfolds on the streets of Vikhroli, where a shopkeeper was slapped, cornered, and publicly humiliated by MNS workers, allegedly over a WhatsApp status. The incident, caught on camera, has gone viral and sparked widespread outrage.

The disturbing clip shows political aggression playing out in broad daylight, with no regard for law or dignity. As the footage continues to circulate across social media, many are left questioning, When will this street justice culture in Mumbai finally end?

Mumbai Viral Video Shows MNS Worker Assaulting Shopkeeper in Vikhroli

A violent clip shows an MNS worker attacking a shopkeeper over alleged anti‑Marathi remarks in Vikhroli. NDTV India posted on X, asking, “Kab Rukegi MNS Ki Gundagardi?” after viewers shared shocked reactions. In Vikhroli\’s Tagore Nagar market, a Rajasthani shopkeeper posted a boastful WhatsApp status calling Marathis inferior.

Local MNS workers confronted him outside his store, demanding an apology and respect for Marathi people immediately. The viral video shows the group slapping him and forcing him to hold his ears in apology. They threatened more severe harm if he or his family posted similar remarks against the Marathi community again.

A Marathi song plays in the background while a caption warns, “Speak against Marathi people, face this treatment.” The MNS logo appears throughout, defying Raj Thackeray\’s directive to avoid filming such intimidation publicly. After the assault, the victim filed a police complaint; local leader Vishwajit Dholam urged a boycott of his shop.

Public Wonders: Will MNS\’s Goondaism Ever Truly End?

Day by day, the MNS\’s Goondaism in the name of respect for the Marathi language is rising in Maharashtra. The Mumbai viral video has sparked growing concern among locals, eager to see justice and peace regained. Residents now question how long vigilante actions will continue without political or legal consequences for offenders.

Community leaders demand strict enforcement of the law to prevent similar abuses of power by any group. Civil rights activists highlight that no community enjoys special immunity from prosecution in a democratic society.

Many fear that without clear accountability, tension between ethnic groups may worsen in Mumbai\’s suburbs soon. The city watches closely, hoping authorities will act decisively to end such lawlessness immediately and transparently.

Repeated Incidents Raise Questions on Political Accountability Again

Weeks earlier, on July 1, MNS workers in Thane assaulted a street vendor for refusing Marathi demands. That incident led to arrests and prompted Bhayander traders to counter‑protest against MNS\’s moral policing. They then joined Shiv Sena (UBT) and NCP in a July 8 march defending Marathi pride.

Another viral clip showed a Hindi‑speaking auto driver near Virar beaten for refusing to speak Marathi. He was forced to apologise publicly to his challenger and the Marathi community at the railway station. These incidents underscore the urgent need for political accountability across Maharashtra to protect rights.

The Mumbai viral video makes it clear that thuggery and intimidation cannot be ignored anymore. Citizens and leaders must demand that law enforcement act swiftly to restore safety and uphold respect.
