At the same time, Union Minister RK Singh said that about 34 people are trapped in the tunnel and we have been able to reach about 70 meters in the tunnel. We have to move forward about 180 meters. The communication system has not yet been restored. We will make arrangements to monitor the glaciers remotely. If people are warned in time, then there will be loss of life and property.

The Rishiganga power project and the Tapovan-Vishnugad hydropower project were demolished due to the glacier breaking on Sunday. The second tunnel of the Tapovan-Vishnugad project strands 30 to 35 people.

Due to the debris being filled in the tunnel, there is a problem in their rescue, many workers and locals working in these two projects are missing due to the rise of Rishiganga river and Dhauliganga river, 11 teams of SDRF are looking for them, two teams Raini, four teams Tapovan, two teams Joshimath and three teams are conducting search operations in Srinagar. The help of four Air Force helicopters is also being taken. As many as 70 SDRF personnel, 129 NDRF personnel, 425 personnel of ITBP, one SSB team, 124 Army personnel, two Army medical teams and two Health Department teams are engaged in the search of the missing persons with relief relief on Monday. .
