Karnataka Government imposes 8 hours night curfew till 2 January

Already, preparations for the rescue of new strains of coronavirus have started. Karnataka has announced the Night Curfew in Karnataka till 2 January. Under this curfew, everything will be closed from 10 pm to 6 am. Maharashtra has already announced a night curfew in view of Corona’s new mutant strains in its big cities. This new strain of coronavirus has been found in Britain, whose information has been given on Sunday. It is believed that this new strain is 70 percent more contagious than the first virus.

As per the advice of the Government of India and the Technical Advisory Committee, it has been decided to implement the night curfew from 10 pm to 6 am from today to January 2, 2021. Yeddyurappa said that the night curfew will continue in force across the state … I appeal to all people to cooperate in stopping the transition to the new form of Covid-19.

State Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa said, “In view of the new strain of Corona virus, it has been decided to impose night curfew from 10 pm to 6 am from today to 2 January.” He said, ‘I appeal to everyone to support me.’ However, earlier he had said ‘There is no need to impose night curfew, we have to be more careful’.

The name of this newly mutated virus is B117. It is related to the altered form of protein spikes present on the virus, which attach themselves to the cells of humans. This mutation prepares the virus to infect the cell at a high rate. Professor Alan McNally of the University of Birmingham says that this is a new type of virus, about which we have no information biologically. It is not right to be told about its effect right now. Whereas, information from Britain suggests that the virus spreads 70 percent faster.
