Pakistani Reaction on Maha Kumbh 2025: Maha Kumbh 2025 is taking place in Prayagraj under the leadership of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Devotees from all over the world are arriving in the holy city to take a sacred dip at the Triveni Sangam. Among these devotees were Hindu pilgrims from Pakistan, who, despite India’s strict visa policies, were granted permission to participate in this religious event. Many Pakistani Hindus expressed their overwhelming joy at attending the grand event and described it as a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Popular Pakistani YouTuber Shaila Khan, who runs the famous channel ‘Naila Pakistani Reaction,’ took to the streets to capture Pakistani people's opinions on Maha Kumbh 2025. The responses were nothing short of heartfelt and thought-provoking. Many Pakistanis acknowledged the deep-rooted cultural and religious ties between the two nations, while some even expressed their wish to visit India and witness the grandeur of Kumbh Mela themselves.

Many Pakistanis lauded India's handling of such a massive religious event and admired the scale at which the festival was organised. Some also spoke about how borders may divide nations, but they cannot erase shared cultural histories.

Pakistanis Call for Better India-Pakistan Relations

During the street interviews, one Pakistani said, "Yeh tasveerin dekh kar lag nahi raha ki yeh do dushman mil rahe hain." This sentiment was echoed by many others, who pointed out that the cultural and religious ties between India and Pakistan run deep, and there is no reason for hostility between the two nations. 

Several people voiced their appeal to the Pakistani government, urging it to improve diplomatic relations with India and ease visa restrictions to allow more religious tourists to visit.

Pakistanis Speak on India, Borders and Punjab

In her video, several Pakistanis also commented on the divide between Indian Punjab and Pakistani Punjab, stating that the border should not act as a wall between people with shared ancestry and traditions. Some people expressed sadness over the partition and emphasised how the two nations could thrive if relations improved. 

One of the most striking remarks from the video was, "If this border line did not exist and there was a softer approach, we would also visit India and be part of their festivals."

Maha Kumbh 2025 has once again highlighted how faith and tradition have the power to unite people, even across borders. The reactions from Pakistani citizens show that despite political differences, there is an undeniable cultural and spiritual bond between the people of India and Pakistan.
