What Happened in Churu Hospital?
According to reports, CCTV footage from August 5, 2026, showed ceiling plaster from the veranda of the hospital collapsing on a female patient while she was leaving after treatment. The woman, identified as 25-year-old Kiran Meghwal, suffered head injuries and required two stitches. Hospital authorities stated that the building had seepage issues due to rain and that a repair request had already been sent to the Public Works Department (PWD) before the incident.
