According to information shared online, the boys on the bike allegedly followed the auto in which the girl was traveling. During the incident, they reportedly passed lewd remarks and tried to tease her while moving alongside the vehicle on a busy road. People on social media expressed anger over the behavior seen in the video, questioning how such incidents continue to happen openly despite repeated awareness campaigns and strict laws against harassment. 

Police Reaction After Video Went Viral

After the video started circulating on social media, the Varanasi Police confirmed that action had been initiated in the matter.

The official account of DCP Varuna Zone Varanasi stated the following:

“Taking cognizance of the said case, necessary legal action is being taken.”

The statement assured people that the police had acknowledged the viral incident and that appropriate legal steps were being carried out against those involved.
