Viral Video: BJP’s Swipe at Tejashwi Yadav’s Fish Lunch During Navratri, Says ‘He is Seasonal Sanatani’

Tejashwi Yadav faces criticism from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for consuming fish during Navratri, escalating religious tensions.

Viral Video

Viral Video: On social media, a video of Tejashwi Yadav, the former deputy chief minister of Bihar and leader of the Rashtriya Janata Dal, is becoming widely popular. In the video, Tejashwi is shown riding in a helicopter with Mukesh Sahni for lunch.

Tejashwi Yadav’s Time Constraints During Election Season

The RJD leader claims that he barely has 10 to 15 minutes to eat during election season. It was seen that the leaders had lunch together—bread and fish. Tejashwi adds that he brings watermelon juice and sattu with him to drink because of the intense heat.

Accusations Against Tejashwi Yadav’s Fish-eating Video

Bihar deputy chief minister Vijay Sinha comments on RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav’s social media post about eating fish on platform “X.” He said, “A few people show themselves as a son of Sanatan but can’t accept the values of Sanatan. I have no objection to food habits, but what you want to show by posting a video of eating fish in Navratri, is the politics of appeasement.”

He added, “One should feel proud of one’s religion, values, nation and society but demeaning them isn’t good. Secularism doesn’t mean insulting your own religion. PM Modi has clearly said ‘ab tushtikaran ki nahi, santushtikaran ki rajneeti hogi.”

Giriraj Singh’s Allegations

Union Minister Giriraj Singh says, “Tejashwi Yadav is a ‘Seasonal Sanatani’, many people be it Rohingyas or Bangladeshi infiltrators came here when his father (Lalu Yadav) was in power. They do politics of appeasement wearing the mask of Sanatan.”

He said, “Lalu Yadav’s party is a private limited company, it’s their company and to whom they want to give the shares become shareholders. In Bihar, be it infiltrators or Rohingyas, a large number of them have their names on the voter list. I demand a mechanism that denies them the voting rights.”
