The incident occurred in the Khanpur area, where the student was riding her bicycle when she confronted the molester. Seething with frustration and anger, she stopped her bike, advanced towards the molester, and then slapped him several times. That shocking act of defiance against the molester happened in broad daylight and amidst a busy market.
In the video, she is seen putting her bag on the carrier of her bicycle before walking up to the molester. After giving a series of slaps, she is seen going back to her home after intervention by locals. The video that was shared by an account called ‘Ghar Ke Kalesh’ has gone viral with users on social media lauding the bravery of the student.
