Viral Video: Life is full of strange events and coincidences, and death is one of the things that have always perplexed and frightened humans. It is challenging to know when and where a person will die. But there are real-life incidents that are more unbelievable than any other thing. The story of Henry Ziegland and a bullet is one of them.
The bizarre story of Henry Ziegland
Recently, a video went viral on youtube which consisted of the story of a man who was killed 20 years later by a bullet which was fired at him 20 years ago. The story was about Henry Ziegland lived in Honey Grove, Texas. In 1883, he broke up with his girlfriend, who was also his fiancé, Macy Tichnor. Macy was deeply in love with him and couldn’t bear the thought of life without him. Henry, however, cheated on her and his betrayal devastated her, and she became depressed, leading to her death.
However, Henry’s life did not change, he continued his life as a farmer and businessman. The death of Macy left her brother filled with rage, he decided to take revenge for his sister’s death. He meticulously plotted to kill Henry and went to his farm with a pistol, ready to carry out his plan. One day, as Henry went to the forest to chop trees, Macy’s brother pounced on him and fired his pistol. The bullet glanced off of Henry’s skull and lodged in the trunk of a tree.
Believing Henry to be dead, Macy’s brother viewed the unconscious body and took his own life, having no purpose left to live now that his sister was gone and her death avenged. Henry was not killed by the bullet that grazed him, so he eventually sought medical attention and resumed living a normal life with his wife and child. However, two decades later, the past came back to haunt him. Henry and his son were in the forest, cutting firewood, and Henry couldn’t chop down one tree with an axe.

He decided to use dynamite, a common practice at the time, and placed it inside the trunk. He told his son to stand back, and the dynamite was detonated, causing the tree to explode. Unfortunately, the explosion also dislodged a bullet, fired by Macy’s brother, that had been resting in the tree trunk. The bullet struck Henry in the head, killing him instantly and completing Macy’s brother’s revenge.
