Viral Video: After a video showing a rice-salt dinner at a primary school in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, went viral on social media, the district magistrate suspended the principal of the school and gave the village chief notice.
Children captured having rice and salt in the premises of the primary school
Children may be seen consuming cooked rice and salt as part of the school’s mid-day meal programme in the viral video. A tour of the school is shown in the video. The videographer contrasts the day’s food with reality while simultaneously showing it. Ekta Yadav, the principal of Dihwa Pandey’s primary school in the Chaurebazar neighbourhood of Ayodhya, received suspension orders after the Ayodhya District Magistrate Nitish Kumar took notice of the situation. He also sent a notice to the village chief.
Due to the proximity of the school to a village, a number of pupils take their lunches and leave for home during the lunch hour. As a result, some parents learned about the rice-salt issue. Numerous parents voiced their opposition to the school. The education department’s officials have been urged to look into the situation in its entirety and occasionally perform unexpected inspections.
