Viral Video: Signs such as 'No Smoking' at certain locations should be sufficient to alert smokers, even when life-threatening warnings on packs might not be effective. These signs also specify laws and regulations that must be adhered to at all costs. Notwithstanding the 'No Smoking' sign within the train, two individuals are alleged to have chosen to smoke a cigarette but ultimately performed sit-ups instead. Social media users circulated a video showing an uncle yelling at passengers who were smoking in a designated no-smoking area inside the train.

Sit-ups as Punishment

He proceeded to make them perform sit-ups as punishment for smoking. People became somewhat divided after seeing the video go viral; some thought the man should not have received the "punishment" and "lesson," while others supported him.

Individuals from various walks of life responded to the video when it became viral. Although the uncle received appreciation from most for reprimanding the men, some questioned his authority and referred to his handling of the situation as "harsh." It was also dubbed "moral policing" by many.

Support vs Criticism

The video was shared on social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter) by the handle 'Ghar ke Kalesh'. The caption of the post read, "Kalesh inside Indian Railways, some people were smoking cigarettes." The video was shared today and has been viewed by 94K people. People took to the comments section to share their opinions. One user said, "Awesome! Yes, the I don't care generation is seriously ruining it." Another user said, "People think smoking in public is cool." Another user said, "Why are these two boys not saying anything? What drugs are they on?"
