Viral Video: In Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, a bus crashed into a platform, killing at least three persons, including a woman. According to a video of the incident released by the news agency ANI, the bus that was parked at the stand suddenly began to move, crossed the platform, and began running over people.
The Bus Accident
The Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) collided with platform number 12 of the Pandit Nehru bus terminal on Monday morning at 8:20 a.m. Police report that the crash caused damage to the Bus Station’s furniture and injured a few other people, among them a baby. Sources claim that the driver’s loss of control over the vehicle was caused by a failed brake system.
Statement by Regional Manager
According to regional manager M Yesu Danam, the driver crossed the platform by moving ahead rather than reversing the car. According to news sources from the area, the bus was travelling from Vijayawada to Guntur. One of the most well-known connections between the Telugu states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana is the Vijayawada bus terminal, which is home to the Vijayawada Guntur service. After gathering information, the cops showed there and opened a case.
