Viral Video: French firefighter Jonathan Vero, 39, has achieved two incredible achievements that have cemented his place in history. He not only smashed the record for the quickest full-body burn 100-meter sprint without oxygen, finishing in 17 seconds, but also for the longest distance full-body burn without oxygen, spanning 272.25 metres.
Vero, a skilled stuntman who "always had a passion for fire," has been playing with flames since he was a young child, according to Guinness World Records. He divides his time between putting out fires as a firefighter and entertaining crowds at fire shows, where he engages them with acts like fire juggling, fire eating, and even changing into the "human torch." To test the boundaries and break down the barriers of the Guinness World Records, he attempts these records. “New record: The fastest full body burn 100 m sprint without oxygen - 17 seconds by Jonathan Vero (France) Jonathan also set the record for the farthest distance run in full body burn during this attempt at 272.25 metres!” wrote Guinness World Records while sharing a video on Instagram.
After achieving the world record titles, Vero said, “This performance has a lot of meaning for me, for my job as a firefighter and for the people who trained me and watched me grow.” One Person commented on video, "Bro woke up and chose to run a 100m while on fire." Another one said,"Bro cooked himself."
