When the son has reached another city, he faces problems in booking a cab for Hauz Khas. Somehow, a cab driver approaches him and ensures to drop him at his destination for 500 rupees. The son recollects his mother’s tips and says to the driver that he is from Delhi itself. Now, the driver asks him to pay 450 rupees but the boy says that he will pay 400 rupees only. The driver agrees and continues the journey.

But the boy does not find his home there, so asks him to take his car to the same street from he has come. The driver feels piqued and scolds him saying that he does not belong to this city. Now, the boy realizes that he does not belong to this city. The driver asks him to pay 500 rupees. The boy feels angry and gives 500 rupees to him as fare. The boy also expresses his sorrow, saying, “How can one show one belongs to this city when one is unfamiliar with the whereabouts of the city?
