What a shocking sight unfolds as a raging river swallows a hanging bridge quickly today near a remote village. This viral video captures a lone man risking his life while crossing exposed wooden planks over swirling waters.

He clings to frayed ropes as torrential rain pounds the valley, and the bridge creaks dangerously each moment. The viral video shows raw courage under weather conditions and reminds us of monsoon dangers in Anjaw.

Relentless Rains Batter Anjaw District Near India-China-Myanmar Border: Disrupting Daily Life

Union Minister Kiren Rijiju posted a viral video on X to highlight the extreme monsoon severity. The caption of the post read, “Arunachal Pradesh receives heaviest Monsoon rains in the world. Got this video of a man crossing a traditional hanging bridge in Anjaw district, Arunachal Pradesh, near the tri-junction of India, China & Myanmar border. Please remain careful & safe. Govt will provide the necessary support.”

The viral video shows a man crossing a damaged suspension bridge above a violent flooding river nearby. Anjaw district lies near the tri-junction of India, China, and Myanmar, making rescue operations extremely hard. This remote area uses simple bamboo, rope, and wood for bridges that can collapse under heavy water flow easily.

Residents depend on these crossings daily, risking life to fetch supplies and reach essential services during monsoons. Several roads and jungle paths are submerged now, making travel almost impossible until monsoon rains even ease significantly.

Authorities Urge Caution and Pledge Full Support to Affected Areas with Relief Measures

Meanwhile, the Arunachal Pradesh government announced four lakh rupees in compensation for each family of deceased victims. Nine people, seven in East Kameng and two in Lower Subansiri, died in landslide incidents recently. Chief Minister Pema Khandu expressed grief and promised necessary assistance to affected families through local authorities.

State Home Minister Mama Natung and Union Minister Rijiju also offered condolences to the grieving communities. The Chief Minister urged residents to stay off roads at night and refrain from approaching rivers.

Netizens Show Concern: Harsh Conditions with Resilience, Navigating Flooded Terrain

Netizens flooded social media rapidly after viewing the viral video urges authorities to build safer bridges and maintain roads for all communities. Citizens hope for quick action now before the next monsoon causes more tragic, preventable losses.
