When a lizard was discovered in chicken biryani close to the bus stop, patrons were taken aback. It is said by some who eat biryani that a lizard has appeared in it. At the Dhaulana police station, a complaint has been made against the shopkeeper, and action has been demanded. The patrons raised a commotion, accusing the biryani vendor of being careless.

Encountering a dead lizard in the biryani

Based on the information provided, Piyush Kumar from Bajhera Khurd and his friend went to Mulla Ji’s well-known store in front of the dairy in Dholana on Wednesday to have biryani. He claims to have noticed a dead lizard in the biryani when there was just half of the plate remaining. The lizard’s appearance startled them. Upon lodging a complaint, the biryani was thrown away by other patrons as well. A video of the entire incident was captured during this period, and it quickly went popular on social media. Customers have filed a complaint and are demanding action against the merchant after discovering a lizard in the biryani.

Food Safety and Drug Administration Department’s involvement in the case

Under the direction of Assistant Commissioner Food, the Food Safety and Drug Administration Department team raided Dhaulana with police assistance after receiving reports of lizards discovered in biryani. Food safety officer Sandeep Kumar has taken a sample of biryani. For testing, it has been sent to the food analysis laboratory. Following the completion of the inquiry, more legal action will be taken.
