Viral Video: No Crime, Say Police After Viral Video Of Namaz

Viral Video: Video of offering Namaz in a hospital in Prayagraj, UP is going viral. This video is from Tej Bahadur Sapru Hospital in Prayagraj. A video of a woman offering Namaz in public in the premises of this hospital is going viral on social media. As soon as the video went viral on social media, a controversy arose over it. The woman who was offering Namaz in the hospital was also opposed by the relatives of other patients present there. Some of them recorded the video and shared this video of a woman offering Namaz on social media.

A family member of the Muslim woman seen in the video has a complaint of dengue. She was with the patient in the hospital. When it was time for namaz, the woman offered namaz outside the dengue ward in the hospital. Other attendants present there opposed the woman. Seeing the matter heating up, the hospital staff reached to resolve the dispute. It is being said that the video is from Thursday afternoon. After this, there was a ruckus, then the hospital staff explained the woman and the protesting people and pacified them.

While a Twitter user shared the video claiming that woman was booked for offering namaz.

Superintendent of the hospital, Dr. MK Akhouri said that the woman who is seen offering Namaz in the video has been explained not to do so in future. Also, a team has been constituted to investigate the incident. The investigation team will also find out why the hospital staff did not stop the woman only after starting the namaz.

In this case, the ward in-charge has also been warned that in this way no one should offer Namaz in the premises of the hospital. Along with the patients, the relatives have also been warned to follow it strictly.
