Viral Video: A Haryana firefighter is seen in a viral video risking his life to stop the burning of the national flag. A fire started at a mill in Panipat. In the video, a firefighter is seen scaling a building’s roof and quickly lowering the Indian flag to safety. Later, he told media outlets that the national flag is the pride of the nation and vowed to defend it with his life if necessary.
Video went viral
Fireman Sunil Mehla, who was assigned to the Panipat district of Haryana, gave his life in defence of the Tricolor. In the city’s Bharat Nagar, a spinning mill caught fire. The Tricolor was being hoisted on the mill’s main gate’s roof in the midst of the fire.Sunil’s eyes landed on the Tricolour at that moment. He ascended the roof without regard for his own safety and quickly brought down the Tricolour before respectfully putting it in the nearby factory. A resident of Jind’s Bhatnagar Colony is Sunil Mehla.
Fireman explained the incident
He added that “Even in an empty plot, firefighters make every effort to put out the fire. The cost of life wasn’t significant because this was where our nation’s pride was engulfed in flames. Even if something unforeseen occurred as I was taking down the Tricolour, I was adamant that I would do so safely “said Sunil Mehla.
