Viral Video: Early on Wednesday morning, a truck and an automobile transporting school children collided in Visakhapatnam (Vizag). In Visakhapatnam, the collision happened close to the Sangam Sarath Theatre. According to officials, the incident injured eight students from Bethany School, as reported by news agency ANI.
Injured Students Undergo Treatment at Nearby Hospital
The hurt students are receiving treatment at a nearby hospital after being taken there right away. The incident, which was caught on camera by a nearby CCTV system, shows the car smashing head-on into the speeding truck. Immediately following the collision, two to three kids are thrown from the car, leaving others stuck inside the flip-turtled vehicle. According to reports, the truck driver came to a stop 100 metres before the collision.
Local Police Attribute Accident to Driver’s Negligence
Local police, as quoted in reports, stated that following a preliminary investigation that included reviewing CCTV footage, it was determined that the driver’s negligence was the reason behind the accident. Though there are currently ongoing investigations into the matter, none of the drivers involved in the crash are reportedly facing legal action.
